What We Evaluate
Complex Symptoms. Clear Answers.
Veritas EMG provides physician-performed electrodiagnostic consultation focused on meaningful clinical interpretation and clear communication.

Nerve Conduction Study (NCS)
Small electrical pulses are used to determine how quickly signals travel through the peripheral nerves. This is measured with stickers applied at the skin's surface.
Most patients describe the sensation as a mild static shock.
NCS allows us to localize problems in nerves and assess the severity.
Three Tools. One Goal.
Diagnostic clarity.

Electromyography
(EMG)
A small, thin needle electrode records electrical activity in selected muscles — at rest and with gentle contraction. This allows us to directly determine whether symptoms are arising from the muscle or its nerve supply.
This may be uncomfortable at some sites, but it will not hurt you.

Ultrasound
(US)
Musculoskeletal ultrasound adds real-time visualization of nerves, tendons, and soft tissue to complement the electrodiagnostic findings.
Ultrasound adds structural information that may not be apparent on EMG or NCS alone.
